The actor has even demonstrated his enormous muscles in motion along with a rigorous gym regimen, all of which he claims were acquired without the usage of drugs, despite widespread rumors to the contrary.

Hugh Jackman revealed on Twitter the new beard he would be sporting for his comeback as Wolverine as Deadpool 3 gears up to start filming in late May, possibly hinting at how the threequel fits within his Fox movie timeline.

Previously, Jackman showed off his jacked and hairy appearance on his Instagram story, via CoveredGeeky, with a photo of his stylist appearing to be busy at work.

The beard resembles the one from Logan, which was Jackman’s penultimate outing as Wolverine and concluded with his tragic demise.

Although Jackman’s Deadpool 3 role has been confirmed to occur before Logan, since this beard resembles the one from his most recent outing and is very different from his facial hair in his prior chronological outing, X-Men: Days of Future Past, it is likely to take place just before his final solo film.

Wolverine’s reappearance in Deadpool 3 won’t “screw with” the resolution of Logan, according to the Australian actor, so whatever Multiversal mischief the mutant duo get up to will apparently still put him on the road to his demise. But it’s evident that Jackman is devoting himself to getting back into Wolverine shape for Deadpool 3 given his remarkable body and facial hair. Although many people are still holding out hope that the actor would return for Avengers: Secret Wars, it is now anticipated that this will be his final appearance as the role.
