Disney recently marked the impending release of The Marvels in cinemas by unveiling a new trailer that showcases its screening on IMAX screens. Despite the absence of its lead actors during the remainder of its promotional campaign, the MCU’s next Phase 5 film is progressing steadily with advertisements and other activities as it approaches its release date.
The sequel has faced several setbacks prior to its November release, including being replaced by Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania at one point, as Marvel strives to ensure that it delivers the highest possible quality when it debuts.
The Marvels Celebrates IMAX Release Date
Disney recently unveiled a fresh 30-second trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming movie, The Marvels. The trailer showcases how the sequel will appear in IMAX format.
Along with the release, a brief message was included for IMAX viewers, revealing that the film will feature “over 30 minutes of IMAX exclusive 1.90:1 expanded aspect ratio”. This means that a larger portion of the movie will be visible on the screen in comparison to regular theaters:
“‘The Marvels’ was made to be experienced in IMAX, including more than 30 minutes of IMAX exclusive 1.90:1 expanded aspect ratio—featuring up to 26% more picture in select sequences throughout the film. IMAX moviegoers will experience more of the image on screen with unprecedented crispness and clarity.”
Disney released a new movie poster featuring Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani with glowing light in blue, yellow, and purple colors.
The latest trailer for The Marvels only showcased a few seconds of new footage. However, it did include a couple of crucial moments from Captain Marvel’s origin story, reflecting back on Carol Danvers’ journey to becoming a superhero.

Will The Marvels Keep Its Release Date?
Despite worries about a possible postponement of The Marvels because of ongoing strikes by its writers and actors, it seems that Disney and Marvel Studios are determined to stick to their plan of releasing the much-awaited sequel on November 10.
This means that Brie Larson’s second standalone film will be the last MCU project to be unveiled this year, following two other movies and three installments on Disney+, including the latest release of I Am Groot Season 2.
Lately, Marvel and Disney have been promoting the release of The Marvels, which is set to hit theaters on November 10. Despite concerns from the film’s crew about maintaining excitement leading up to the debut, the MCU aims to continue its 15-year streak of successful movies on the big screen. With just under two months to go, fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming sequel.
