The topic “Captain America 4 Star Claims Harrison Ford Was ‘Spicy’ During Filming” has two versions, a written one, and a video version below the written version.
Actor Danny Ramirez, who stars in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film Captain America: Brave New World, recently spoke with ComicBook.com about his experiences on set. Ramirez plays the character Joaquin Torres/Falcon in the movie and revealed some interesting details about Harrison Ford’s behavior on set. Despite being a consummate professional, Ramirez said that Ford was also known for being “spicy” and having fun with his castmates. Overall, Ramirez had nothing but positive things to say about working with the Hollywood legend. “If anyone’s spicy, it’s that man. He shows up. He’s an unbelievable professional. He’s obviously a legend, but he allows everyone to be themselves near him. He cracks jokes whenever he’s at. He’s attuned to the room, so he knows when to crack a joke.”
As per Mads Mikkelsen, Ford is known for teasing his co-stars on set. However, Ramirez believes that Ford’s sense of humor helped ease tensions for everyone involved in making Brave New World. In this series, Ford made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thaddeus E. “Thunderbolt” Ross, taking over the role from the late William Hurt. Ford mentioned that he wanted to do something fun and out of his comfort zone, which led him to join the MCU. It is expected that Ford will reprise his role in the upcoming Thunderbolts. There have been rumors that Ford may also play Thaddeus’ Red Hulk alter-ego in the MCU, but he has not confirmed or denied this possibility.
Ramirez, who previously played the character of Joaquin in the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film debut in Brave New World. He is also known for his role as Lt. Mickey “Fanboy” Garcia in the Oscar-winning film Top Gun: Maverick, and has appeared in Tales of the Walking Dead.
Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson’s Captain America, with Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross. The film was originally scheduled to be released this year after its completion in June 2021, but due to rewrites and planned reshoots, it has been postponed until next year. These reshoots are set to take place between May and August 2024. The Captain America sequel is the final Phase Five MCU title.
“Brave New World” will be released in theaters on February 14th, 2025.
