There are many projects in the Marvel Studios pipeline that are either now filming or getting ready to start filming.
The MCU has a full schedule that is constantly changing, especially at the moment.
Because of this, keeping track of where each film or streaming series is in the development process may be a herculean task.
So here is a list of all the Marvel Studios productions that have cameras rolling now or soon.
Every MCU Project Currently Filming
According to Charles Murphy of Murphy’s Multiverse, there are four MCU projects currently in production.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos - Atlanta
Despite rumors that Disney+’s Agatha: Coven of Chaos may have severe release delays, the scary streaming series is now in Atlanta’s production phase.
Since late last year, the WandaVision spin-off, which is led by Kathryn Hahn, has been filming as the Coven of Chaos crew attempts to revive the Westview universe for eager viewers.
Daredevil: Born Again - New York
Daredevil, who had been out from the public eye for a while, is making a comeback in the New York City filming of Daredevil: Born Again. (NYC).
As production on the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen for Disney+ continues, fans have spotted actors like Charlie Cox (the MCU’s Matt Murdock) and the Kingpin himself, Vincent D’Onofrio, all throughout NYC.
Captain America: New World Order - Atlanta
Captain America: New World Order is the only MCU theatrical project that is presently shooting.
At the end of March, principal photography on the most recent Captain America sequel began in Atlanta, Georgia, as well-known actors like Anthony Mackie, Liv Tyler, and Harrison Ford team up for yet another super-powered epic.
Wonder Man - Los Angeles
The Wonder Man series starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is the most current Marvel Studios film to begin filming.
Filming has started in Los Angeles, which is appropriate for a streaming series that will “be set in [the world of] Hollywood,” according to producer Destin Daniel Cretton’s latest announcement.
The Next MCU Projects To Start Filming
Murphy also disclosed that the Hollywood behemoth’s upcoming slate will include three pictures from the Marvel Studios.
Blade - Atlanta
The next picture scheduled to begin shooting is Mahershala Ali’s Blade.
The vampire-slaying blockbuster is reportedly seeking to start filming by the end of May in Atlanta after experiencing delays because of roadblocks in the pipeline and rumored “script changes [happening] all the time.” However, considering the film’s rocky trajectory up to this point, anything may happen at any time.
Deadpool 3 - UK
Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 is another MCU project hoping to begin shooting before the summer.
Reynolds recently stated that “production [on the film] should start” in the UK “just before summer” because it is clear that the movie’s stars are currently in the thick of their super-powered comeback preparations.
Thunderbolts - Atlanta
The third and final movie Charles Murphy announced in his Marvel Studios development update was the Thunderbolts movie, scheduled for release in July 2024.
Atlanta will serve as the location for the Phase 5-closer’s production, and Thunderbolts is reportedly planning to start shooting this summer. Thunderbolts is aiming for a June start date, and Thunderbolts star David Harbour said that the MCU and Stranger Things would “going to have to sort of share [him].”
On Friday, May 5, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3—the upcoming film from Marvel Studios—will be released in theaters.
