A new release date has been set for Ironheart, the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever spin-off.
Following her appearance in Black Panther 2, Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams (also known as Ironheart) will soon have her own Disney+ series, which will follow her journey at MIT as she develops into the next young superhero to join the MCU.
Fans will eventually be able to see this “tech versus magic” combat, although the exact date is yet uncertain.
The online show was supposed to premiere later this year, but as the months have passed, it has become less and less likely that will happen.
What is Ironheart’s New Release Window?

Marvel
The Ironheart spin-off from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever now has a delayed anticipated release window of 2024, according to a revised timetable made public by Variety.
At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, a fall 2023 debut date for the Disney+ series was first announced. In March 2023, the show’s release in 2023 was put in peril when it was simply labeled as “Coming Soon” among several other MCU projects.
Ironheart’s postponement into 2024 is not entirely unexpected given how frequently Marvel Studios reviews its release calendar and overall content strategy.
When Will Ironheart Release on Disney+?
Fans are now unsure of when nearly every MCU project will really be released as a result of all these adjustments to the Marvel Studios release schedule. Will those release dates hold true for those who have them?
Given that the studio has delayed a lot of projects, it is not shocking that Ironheart was also delayed.
According to reports, the new Marvel Studios approach will be “two shows and three movies a year” as opposed to “four shows and four movies a year.” That probably suggests that things will continue to be pushed forward in the future.
In terms of Ironheart’s actual release date, it seems like it will happen sooner rather than later. The Dominique Thorne-led series has wrapped up production and was allegedly scheduled to release later this year, so a move of a few months seems about reasonable.
With Daredevil: Born Again still scheduled for a Spring 2024 release, it makes the most sense for Ironheart to be released before then. The Black Panther 2 spin-off may wait a few months now that Echo will debut in November before releasing on streaming services in January 2024, when the year 2024 begins.
A Disney+ premiere of Ironheart is apparently planned for some point in 2024.
