Finally! Lizzo's official documentary is here, which follows the three-time Grammy-Award-winning vocalist-lyricist, flute player, and actress who moved the pop world lately is going to HBO Max this fall.
As reported at the 2022 Warner Bros. Disclosure Upfront held on Wednesday (May 18), the as of now untitled documentary won't just follow her modest beginnings and ascend to fame but will likewise feature the difficulties she's faced while balancing her vocation and individual life.
The "Good As Hell" artist partook in a statement, "Growing up I never dreamed I’d get to experience all of the things I’ve accomplished in my life, and I’m just getting started. I’m so excited I get to share and relive my journey with my fans and HBO Max. From ‘Cuz I Love You’ to my dramatic world tour, losing and gaining love, and creating my new album ‘Special,’ y’all get to see the amount of time, patience, blood, sweat, and tears that went into this process. It takes ten years to become an ‘overnight success,’ and hopefully, I can inspire other young creatives to keep going.”

The yet-to-be-named documentary isn't the main thing Lizzo is celebrating nowadays. Her new project, Special, is scheduled for debut on July 15 with her North American tour to begin this September. Her athleisure line, Yitty, dropped last month and her competition series, Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, debuted on March 25 through Prime Video.
Also, her new chart-topping single, "About Damn Time," topped No.1 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs outline, because of it becoming famous online on TikTok as the most recent dance frenzy.
