Diddy And Jermaine Dupri’s Long-Awaited ‘VERZUZ’ Confirmed For September

Diddy has stated that their VERZUZ collaboration with Jermaine Dupri will indeed take place. The Combs Global tycoon informed Busta Rhymes of the news, according to a video posted on Sunday (May 7).

At New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 8, the much-awaited matchup will take place.

Diddy informed Busta, “We’re gon’ have you out the rafters flying out the sky,” to which the rapper responded, “That’s my type of talk.”

Since September 2021, the creator of So So Def and the producer of Bad Boy have been hinting at this collaboration. JD posted, “Somebody let @Diddy know I’m @thegarden right now ! And he gon need some training for me.”

Diddy replied, “Beloved you my n***a but your arms too short to box with God!!! You aiint got enough hits. I’ll smash you with just biggie n Mary . But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend – Dre the only one can get in the ring w me . – LOVE”

He went into great detail about his opinions about Diddy in his interview with VIBE at the beginning of this year. “We had a lot of similarities, but I never felt threatened by Puff. I always felt inspired by him,” said JD.

VERZUZ co-founders Timbaland and Swizz Beatz have not publicly confirmed the show, despite Diddy’s unofficial announcement. Omarion and Mario’s starring Bobby V, Pleasure P, and Ray J from June 2022 was the final VERZUZ to occur.
